SafeKey ("we", "our", or "the app") is an offline password manager. This Privacy Policy explains what information SafeKey handles and how we protect your privacy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect absolutely no personal information. SafeKey does not require account registration, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information to function.

All data you enter into SafeKey — including passwords, usernames, and notes — is:

SafeKey requests zero network permissions. The app makes no network requests of any kind. Your data never leaves your device.

4. Third-Party Services

SafeKey does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking services.

5. Biometric Data

When you enable Face ID or Touch ID, authentication is handled entirely by iOS via the LocalAuthentication framework. SafeKey never accesses or stores your biometric data.

6. Backups

If you use the export feature, an encrypted backup file is generated on your device. You are solely responsible for how you store or share that file.

7. Children's Privacy

SafeKey does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app contains no content directed at children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
